Vendor Marketplace
Head into the back and you're in the vendor marketplace. Rustic booths, cafe lights strung overhead, and way more variety than most people expect. Candles, skincare, pottery, handmade jewelry, books by local authors, paintings, crochet, woodwork, ceramics, and plenty more.
Every item has a small sign showing exactly where it came from and how many miles away that is.
What You'll Find
Two rooms. More than you'd expect.
Food
Walk in the front door and you're in the food section. Local honey, small-batch hot sauces, snacks, sourdough from a local bakery, specialty jams, cheese, chocolate, pasta, coffee, and more. A lot of it comes in fresh every week from the people who made it.

MEET WENDY
Wendy Chester worked in and around this community in art, textiles, project management, life safety inspection, and affordable housing development. She'd always believed buying local mattered and studying sustainable development at App State gave her more reasons why.
She and her husband Tim live about a mile away. Most days they open the store together with their dog Karma - and Wendy will tell you it's the best part of the morning.
Radii 100 is a woman-owned business.
The 100-Mile Promise
Radii is the plural of radius. The store doesn't just go one direction. It reaches north toward Virginia, south into South Carolina, west into the mountains past Asheville, and east toward Greensboro. Most of North Carolina, plus parts of a few neighboring states.
The products come from farms, family bakeries, studios, kitchens, and small workshops scattered all across the region.
Wendy and Tim often drive out to vendors to pick up products themselves, meet the makers, and bring their stories back to share with customers.

Radii 100 works with vendors at all different stages, from experienced makers who do events all year to people who've never had their product on a shelf before. If you make, grow, bake, or create something within 100 miles of Hickory, Wendy wants to hear from you. No long-term commitment to get started.
HOW TO VISIT
It's a little tucked away at the far end of the shopping center, so it's easy to miss if you don't know where to look.
Find us at 2966 S Hwy 127 in Mountain View. Look for the big Marketplace Church sign and Campground Coffee (the coffee camper with picnic tables). Turn in at the shopping center entrance and drive all the way to the back. We're at the end of the strip with plenty of parking.
Come on in and take your time. The store is set up so you can see everything. Samples are usually available.
Take something home made by someone nearby. That's the whole point.
The guy who makes the pretzels grew up in Munich but lives and bakes in Swannanoa now. The hot sauce comes from an Ethiopian family recipe, made by folks who live in Candler. The pottery was shaped on a wheel about 40 minutes from here. One of the books on the shelf was written by someone who grew up in this county.
One store. A hundred miles of neighbors.
